{"id":105,"date":"2012-12-18T10:49:45","date_gmt":"2012-12-18T10:49:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.soft-answer.co.uk\/?p=105"},"modified":"2013-02-25T22:03:28","modified_gmt":"2013-02-25T22:03:28","slug":"progress-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.soft-answer.co.uk\/?p=105","title":{"rendered":"Progress Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since setting up the domains and the site, I&#8217;ve been very busy with work and studying, but I have been able to find some time to progress my first release &#8216;Presentation Control Panel&#8217;.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When I setup the site, I had quite a lot to do, so here&#8217;s a quick breakdown of whats been done:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Licensing System<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Interface to Share-It has been completed<\/li>\n<li>API for activating, deactivating and checking licenses has been implemented<\/li>\n<li>Licensing system control panel has basic functionality completed (reporting and key searching)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Presentation Control Panel<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>C# interface to licensing system has been implemented and is being tested<\/li>\n<li>All core functionality is complete and operational<\/li>\n<li>Slide inspector has been developed to allow all slides and their visibility\/links to be edited at once<\/li>\n<li>User manual is about 75% complete<\/li>\n<li>Demonstration presentation is about 75% complete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Share-It Store Front<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>All products have been defined<\/li>\n<li>All artwork has been uploaded<\/li>\n<li>Link to licensing system has been setup ready for test purchases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Other<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Support site is ready and waiting<\/li>\n<li>On-line content for soft-answer.co.uk is about 75% complete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So what&#8217;s left to do?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Licensing System<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Admin tools (for key and product management)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Presentation Control Panel<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Print wizard &#8211; Allows you to add a script to the presentation that can be used to print slides in an exported presentation<\/li>\n<li>User manual &#8211; Waiting for finalised forms from missing functionality<\/li>\n<li>Create and test installers for Office 2007 and 2010<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Share-It Store Front<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Make the products visible to the general public<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Other<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Finish inter-site links<\/li>\n<li>Finish content<\/li>\n<li>Test it &#8211; Again \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I hope to have this done before 2013.
